Lewis College of Human Sciences’ Clinical Psychology Program Participates in Local Diversity Event

Joyce Hopkins, professor of psychology and director of the Clinical Training Program, and graduate students Lynda Gibson and Talissa Dorsaint, participated in a panel discussion on April 29 at Diversifying Clinical Psychology. The workshop was designed to encourage and provide support for undergraduate students from underrepresented groups to apply for clinical psychology graduate programs. Undergraduate students also had the opportunity to present posters to program directors, graduate students, and event attendees.

The event was co-sponsored by Illinois Tech’s Clinical Psychology Program and organized in partnership with clinical psychology programs at DePaul University, Loyola University Chicago, Northwestern University, Rosalind Franklin University, and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
