Graduate student Matt Heston has been accepted into the Eric & Wendy Schmidt Data Science for Social Good Summer Fellowship program at the University of Chicago this summer.
Heston, who is pursuing his master’s degree in Information Architecture at the Lewis College of Human Sciences, will work with other aspiring data scientists and scholars from around the nation on projects with social impact for government and non-profit agencies.
“I’m looking forward to working with really talented people from very diverse backgrounds and to apply my skills to projects that will help improve peoples’ lives,” Heston said.
