Lifeworks, Illinois Tech’s Employee Assistance Program, is highlighting financial topics this April with the Master Your Money Mindset edition of the Heartbeat Newsletter. Visit the newsletter for a variety of videos and articles, such as Understanding and improving your money mindset. You can also access support and resources to help you get your financial house in order. When you visit the Heartbeat Newsletter site, you also have access to prior months’ newsletters and all of their articles, videos, and resources.
Crisis Support Line now open
While the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) help line is open for eligible employees, LifeWorks has also opened up a Crisis Support Line for anyone in the community in need of emotional support in relation to the recent tornados across the Midwest. The Crisis Support Line is open 24/7 and can be reached at: 1-877-757-7587
By calling, individuals will receive professional emotional support and/or referral to community resources. This resource is available to anyone and everyone in the US, client or not.
Lifeworks’ ongoing features
Don’t forget about Lifeworks’ ongoing resources like LIFT Virtual Fitness, and Life Coaching, both of which are completely free. There are even discount opportunities.
As always, Lifeworks is available 24/7 for free and confidential assistance for Illinois Tech Employees and their families. Don’t forget the Lifeworks app, either. It’s available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, and allows you to access Lifeworks’ resources directly through your smartphone!
