TIAA One-on-One Appointments, Tuesday, January 27
January 20, 2026Illinois Tech will be hosting retirement planning sessions this fall with our dedicated TIAA Financial Consultant on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in the MTCC Yellow Room. One-on-one appointments are free for all benefits-eligible faculty and staff, and are available from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. that day. -
Tuition Exchange Scholarship Opportunity Applications for 2026
October 30, 2025The Tuition Exchange program is a nonprofit organization of more than 700 colleges and universities that agree to a reciprocal scholarship program. Illinois Tech accepts applications from eligible faculty and staff and their dependents each fall for Tuition Exchange scholarship opportunities at other participating universities. Faculty and staff or their eligible dependents may apply for a scholarship as long as they meet the criteria detailed here. -

October 28, 2025Illinois Tech’s annual open enrollment period for benefits will run from Friday, October 31, 2025, through Friday, November 14, 2025. Changes made during open enrollment become effective January 1, 2026. -

September 18, 2025Save the date for Illinois Tech's annual benefit related events this fall! Vaccine clinics will be held at Mies Campus on October 30 and at Conviser Law Center on October 28. Also, a Benefits Fair will be held at Mies Campus on October 30, ahead of Open Enrollment from October 31 through November 15. -
BCBS Health Plan Members Be Aware of Increased Fraud Attempts
August 26, 2025Blue Cross Blue Shield has made us aware of an increase in fraud attempts via email, text, and phone calls. This is impacting individuals as "spoofing" attempts, as well as in the filing of fraudulent claims. Spoofing attempts are incidents in which someone impersonates a legitimate corporation in an attempt to gain access to personal information, such as bank account or credit card information. Health plan members are encouraged to remain vigilant to ensure that they do not provide scammers with personal information, and take necessary action should fraudulent claims be filed under their name. -
