Lifeworks’ February Heartbeat Newsletter; Webinar About Social Media and Mental Health

Lifeworks, Illinois Tech’s Employee Assistance Program, has announced new articles and videos for February in the Heartbeat Newsletter. February’s features include highlights on Communicating as a Couple, Fighting Fairly, and a video on how relationships are vital to well-being. There are additional tools for managers, as well as articles on workplace relationships. You’ll also have access to January’s newsletter in case you missed it.

On February 25, Lifeworks will present a webinar entitled App-Happy? The Relationship Between Mental Health and Social Media. As we know, social media has a huge impact on our lives, and this is only set to increase. Media outlets frequently report the effect of social media on mental health as damaging, particularly on the younger generation. However, you can use social media responsibly and keep mental health in tact by doing so. Click here for more information and to register.
