Applications are now being accepted for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), Scholarship and Fellowship Education Grant, Faculty Development Grant, and Trade School and Community College Scholarship Grant, Fiscal Year (FY) 2019.

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is an independent agency, established by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, tasked with licensing and regulating the mation’s civilian use of byproduct, source, and special nuclear material to ensure adequate protection of public health and safety, to promote the common defense and security, and to protect the environment.

An applicant/institution may submit only one application for each of the scholarship, fellowship, faculty development, and trade school and community college scholarship grant programs. Various topics are of interest to the NRC. You can find additional information here: FY19 NRC FOA.
