Nominations Open for Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Award

The Office of Student Affairs in now accepting nominations for the Lincoln Academy of Illinois Student Laureate Award.  The award honors an outstanding senior from each of the four-year degree granting institutions of higher learning in Illinois.

Student Laureates are honored for their overall excellence in curricular and co-curricular activities. The student must have a cumulative and major GPA of not less than 3.00. Each recipient will receive a certificate of achievement and a check for $500 to cover travel and other expenses. The winner is also awarded the Student Lincoln Academy Medallion and thereby becomes a Student Laureate of the Lincoln Academy of Illinois. The Student Laureates will also attend a special ceremony that will be held on Saturday, November 3 in the Hall of Representatives, Old State Capitol Building in Springfield, Illinois.

We encourage you to help us identify those deserving students who may qualify for this prestigious award. Student self-nominations are also accepted.
