Location Change: Kaplan Institute Groundbreaking

Due to weather complications, we have elected to move the celebration of the groundbreaking of the Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship indoors, to the Hermann Hall Expo today (Thursday, August 25) at noon. The actual breaking of ground will remain outdoors, just north of Hermann Hall. Don’t forget to wear your favorite red Illinois Tech gear and bring your umbrella. We hope you will still join us for the carnival-style reception following the groundbreaking ceremony.

If you can’t make it in person, follow along virtually. Watch the livestream online or from the televisions in Life Sciences or John T. Rettaliata Engineering Center. The livestream will also play in Hermann Hall’s Alumni Lounge to allow for overflow seating.

For an even more unique online experience, download the Vamonde app for free from the iTunes Store for additional photos, videos, and sneak peeks into the Kaplan Institute.
