IIT Chicago-Kent’s Student Bar Association and the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Multicultural Affairs presents the outreach initiative “Project Smile” for Diversity Week 2014.

To strengthen the law school’s connection with the Chicagoland community, the diverse student organizations and the Criminal Law Society at IIT Chicago-Kent are co-sponsoring a school supply drive for Diversity Week. Organizers are asking the entire IIT community to get involved. All school supplies will be donated to the beneficiary organization, Greenhouse Shelter, which focuses on culturally specific services for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence.

Please bring any school supplies to the donation box located on the Downtown Campus on the first floor near the elevators from March 3-13, 2014.

This event reflects the values expressed in IIT’s Diversity Statement and is intended to promote diversity at IIT.
