Men’s and Women’s Tennis to Host Conference Semifinals

CHICAGO, Ill.—The Illinois Tech Men’s and Women’s Tennis teams begin 2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) tournament play this week, as both teams will be hosting semifinal matches at the XS Tennis Village in Chicago.

Women’s Tennis finished the regular season 9-9 overall and a perfect 8-0 in NACC play. They claimed the number one seed in the women’s conference tournament, and will host the winner between Concordia University Wisconsin and the Milwaukee School of Engineering, as those two teams play their quarterfinal match on Wednesday to determine who will advance to play the Scarlet Hawks in Thursday’s semifinal match at 11 a.m. at XS Tennis.

Men’s Tennis finished the regular season 12-5 overall and a perfect 6-0 in NACC play. The team is also on a nine-match winning streak. Men’s Tennis secured the number one seed in the men’s conference tournament, and will face either Concordia Wisconsin, Edgewood, or Concordia Chicago on Friday, May 1, at 6 p.m. at XS Tennis in their semifinal match.

Should one or both teams win their semifinal matches, they would advance to their respective conference championship matches on Sunday, May 3, at Sports Core in Kohler, Wisconsin, with the women’s championship scheduled for 10 a.m., and the men’s championship scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
