The Illinois Tech Men’s Cross Country team competed in the Elmhurst College Earlybird Invitational on September 1 at Eldridge Park. The Scarlet Hawks placed seventh of 11 qualified teams in the 6k race.

• Cole Dammeier led the way in 21st place (20:18.0)
• Anthony Tuman placed well in his first collegiate meet (27th, 20:52.4)
• Thomas Doyle placed 37th with a 21:22.2 time

• The Scarlet Hawks hit the course again on Friday, September 8 at 5 p.m. for the Aurora University Invite. The race will take place at Oakhurst Forest Preserve.
