The NSF has updated the Proposal & Award Policies & Procedures Guide (PAPPG) 2020 which go into effect for proposals due or submitted by Monday, June 1, 2020.

- Biographical Sketches and Current and Pending support will require the use of the NSF-approved format for preparation of the Biographical Sketch and Current and Pending via SciENcv. Please be sure to allow yourself enough time to prepare these documents for your proposals. Proposals must continue to adhere to the internal deadlines for submission.
- Current and Pending – language has been clarified NSF’s longstanding requirements regarding submission of current and pending support.
- Collaborators & Other Affiliations Information has been updated.
- Project Description: The requirement for the Project Description to contain Intellectual Merit has been removed.
- Changes in Person-Months Devoted to the Project and withdrawal of PI/PD and Co-PI/PD: Such requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the proposed change.
