As a result of the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in December, the Internal Revenue Service recently released an updated Form W-4 to help taxpayers check their 2018 tax withholding. This act made changes to the tax law, including increasing the standard deduction, removing personal exemptions, increasing the child tax credit, limiting or discontinuing certain deductions and changing the tax rates and brackets.

To help you check your 2018 tax withholding, the new Form W-4 can be found on the myIIT Portal under: Work tab/Administrative Offices/Payroll/Forms/Federal W-4. In addition, this site also provides an IRS withholding calculator to help you determine your tax withholding.

Hard copies of the new 2018 Form W-4 can be picked up in the Payroll Office.
