The NIH course, “Protecting Human Research Participants,” will no longer be available after Wednesday, September 26. Investigators conducting research involving human subjects must complete training and submit documentation with each IRB protocol. With the elimination of this course, investigators must complete required human subjects training through CITI. Any investigators currently completing the NIH course, or those who wish to do so, must download their completion report by September 26, 2018. After this date, the NIH course and access to completion certificates will not be available. The Research Compliance website has been updated with instructions on establishing an account with CITI.
