On Friday, February 13, 2015, the Illinois Institute of Technology campus is coming together to celebrate “No One Eats Alone Day.” This is a day when we can champion the unique friendliness we have on our campus and strive to make sure that everyone has someone to share that day’s lunch or dinner, and keep conversation flowing. IIT’s diversity of students, faculty and staff has much to offer in many areas: social relationships, global awareness, intellectual and social discussions inside and outside of the classroom and much more.
With the interesting backgrounds we all have, learning as much as we can about each other means we are learning to understand the world around us. Look for exclusive copies of “No One Eats Alone Day” buttons that you can proudly wear on February 13. NOEAD is sponsored by The Office of Spiritual Life and Service Learning, IIT Service Conduct, Disability Resources, and Galvin Library.
This event reflects the values expressed in IIT’s Diversity Statement and is intended to promote diversity at IIT.
