The Office of Digital Learning has scheduled Blackboard training sessions for faculty, teaching assistants, and staff during the first two weeks of January.
These are being offered remotely, rather than face-to-face in our offices for the first time. We will be using Collaborate, a browser-based conferencing tool which is currently available across the university and is accessible via any Bb course or organization.
We encourage faculty who are new to using Blackboard to participate, but we also invite experienced faculty who have questions about specific features like the how to use Blackboard for tests, managing the Grade Center, or reusing content from course to course.
All sessions will be online and will open 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
– Chrome is the recommended browser.
– Participants can have a camera and microphone, but are not required.
Schedule
- Friday, January 12 at 11 a.m.
RSVP here so we can estimate participation. An RSVP is not required but is appreciated.
The session links are also listed on the RSVP page.
As always if you are unable to attend, please contact Brad Katz (bkatz2@iit.edu) or Matt West (mwest9@iit.edu) to schedule a department meeting or a small group or one-on-one session.
