IT Professional Certificate Programs

The Information Technology Certificate Program (ITM) and the Industrial Technology Professional Certificate Program (INTM) offered through Illinois Institute of Technology’s Office of Professional Development are semester-long training programs designed for working professionals who are looking to either upgrade or expand their IT skills or make a career change into the field of computer technology or technology management.

Courses are held in the evenings or may be taken online. They are a combination of both lecture and lab, which allows students hands-on practice of the skills and concepts presented. The courses are taught by proven industry professionals who enhance the learning process by having real-world knowledge and experience. Courses may be taken individually or as a three-course certificate program sequence awarding the participant a Professional (3+ courses) or Career (2 courses) certificate in one of the concentrations listed below:
