Operation Circus Escape Room on Campus

Operation: CIRCUS is an escape room designed, built, and executed by students of Illinois Tech.

One chance to right a wrong; one chance to ensure the legacy and history of one of the greatest circus ring mistresses is preserved! It’s up to you (and your friends!), as private investigators to uncover the history of Avis Rosamund Nachtnebel, circus performer, ringmistress, and beloved Great-Aunt of your client Charlie, and solve the mystery surrounding her will.

Your group will be placed into a race against time, following the clues left behind by Mrs. Nachtnebel. The assignment: Discover her last will and testament, and ensure her collection is preserved, and not sold off to the highest bidder by Charlie’s wicked uncle. Find the clues, solve the riddles, hunt down the will, and go home to file it all under the codename Operation: CIRCUS.

Tickets for Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday shows can be purchased in advance with credit card here: https://secure.touchnet.com/C20090_ustores/web/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCTID=2044&SINGLESTORE=true

Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday shows are cash only. You can view available times at this link and email ckocurek@iit.edu to reserve for groups of 2 or more.

The escape room is open to all community members, both from our campus and from Chicago — so bring your friends and family. If you do not have an IIT ID, you will need to sign in at the security desk as visiting enrollment. All guests should then proceed to the elevators and go to the basement.

Masks are required in all campus buildings and for the duration of the escape room. We request all players use the provided hand sanitizer before beginning the game and upon completion.
