Controller’s Office Organizational Changes

IIT Associate Vice President of Finance and Controller Brian Laffey announced several organizational changes, effective April 1, 2012. These organizational changes will enable the Controller’s Office to align resources to best meet the university’s business needs while providing greater customer service.

Associate Controller Deb Casales will move to General Accounting to oversee IIT’s balance sheet accounts, endowments and gift accounts. Lani Anggraeni, Yves Mondesir, and Joseph Augustin will report to Casales.

Adrienne Wassell has been promoted to the director of student accounting (Bursar). Adrienne joined the Bursar’s Office in 2009 and is currently the associate bursar for cash operations. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Boston University and brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role.

Kristoffer Del Rosario will be moving into a new role within the Controller’s Office as a systems analyst, where he will be working with Ken Johnston and Ben Bozzetti to provide financial systems support. Del Rosario came to IIT in 2010 from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. He has a bachelor’s degree from California State University and is currently pursuing his graduate degree in Information Technology and Management at IIT.

Finally, Rosalind Hosea will be joining the Student Accounting Office (Bursar’s Office) as an administrative coordinator. Hosea joined IIT in 2007 as administrative assistant to the controller. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role, including experience with the Banner system, customer service and higher education administration.
