Outstanding Requirements and Spring Registration

Although it may seem that the fall semester has just begun, spring registration is just around the corner. If you have a balance with the university, the Office of Student Accounting will issue a hold on your account that will prevent you from registering for spring classes. Now is the time to accept student loans, request student loan increases, or submit any requested documentation to our office if you plan to finance your bill using federal or state aid.

If you would like to accept your federal loans, please visit your Financial Aid Dashboard (found on the “Welcome” tab of your myIIT portal) and navigate to the “Award Offer” tab. Make sure you are viewing the 2020-2021 Award Year, and scroll to the bottom of the page to see your available loans. For reference, the last day to accept or increase a federal student loan is Friday, November 20.

If you have any questions regarding your loan options or outstanding requirements, please connect with the Office of Financial Aid by calling (312) 567-3982, emailing finaid@iit.edu, or scheduling a virtual appointment.

Cheers,

Office of Financial Aid
