Hinge Health’s Free Services Are Expanding to Help Recovery From Smaller Joint Pain
April 25, 2024Hinge Health, Illinois Tech's digital exercise therapy partner, is expanding their services to include support for recovery for elbow, hand, wrist, ankle and foot joint pain. Services for these new programs will continue to be completely free for Illinois Tech's Blue Cross Blue Shield health plan members and their eligible dependents. Programs for back, knee, hip, neck, shoulder and other joint pain continue to be available as they have been. -

April 23, 2024Saberseminar is one of the leading baseball and sports analytics conferences and it’s happening August 24–25 at Illinois Tech. Students get a discount. Saberseminar brings together academics, data scientists, and MLB front office employees for a two-day showcase of the latest research in baseball, and it’s a great chance for students to show off their research in front of an audience of teams and data vendors looking to hire. -

Attend Black Student Union’s Emergence of Love Event
April 16, 2024Black Student Union is hosting an event called Emergence of Love from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at McCormick Tribune Campus Center. The Emergence of Love serves as a transformative resource hub dedicated to addressing a myriad of challenges faced by students and communities in Chicago. With an intentional focus on holistic well-being, empowerment, and countering systemic oppression, this initiative provides a comprehensive array of resources to uplift marginalized communities. The event includes grocers, food, a panel about humanizing people of color and a fashion show called Element X. -
Chicago-Kent: Film Screening and Q-and-A: ‘Food Roots’ with Billy Dec (’99) on April 26
April 16, 2024The Office of Advancement invites you to a complimentary screening of Food Roots, which follows Emmy Award-winning restaurateur and Chicago-Kent College of Law alumnus Billy Dec (’99) in adventures through his mother’s native 7,641 Islands of the Philippines to learn recipes from his last living elders, confronting culinary and cultural treasures and family secrets. Q&A session with Billy Dec to follow. This program is complimentary but registration is required.
