Assistant Professor of History Marie Hicks will be at the Seminary Coop bookstore, along with documentarian Melissa Pierce, to discuss Hicks’s new book, Programmed Inequality, on Thursday, February 9 at 6 p.m. Hicks and Pierce, who is making a documentary about legendary computer pioneer Grace Hopper, will talk about the history of women in computing during a panel presentation.
