Panel on Women in Computing at Seminary Coop Bookstore February 9

Assistant Professor of History Marie Hicks will be at the Seminary Coop bookstore, along with documentarian Melissa Pierce, to discuss Hicks’s new book, Programmed Inequality, on Thursday, February 9 at 6 p.m. Hicks and Pierce, who is making a documentary about legendary computer pioneer Grace Hopper, will talk about the history of women in computing during a panel presentation. Afterward there will be a brief book signing. All are welcome, and there is no cost to attend. More details about the event can be found here.
