Patrick Fina, coordinator for Campus Life, recently presented at the ACPA National Convention in collaboration with Jessica Hulten from the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center. Fina and Hulten have worked together over the past year to develop a leadership program focusing on the importance of becoming a global upstander. The workshop was offered on the Illinois Tech campus during this past Welcome Week, as well as during the academic year.

The presentation at ACPA highlighted this new and unique partnership, discussing how the program improved and informed new student programming. The leadership workshop that was developed works to address issues of social justice, as well as explore the role of individual leadership.
