Regardless of dollar amount, all orders for radioactive materials, lasers and x-ray related purchases, whether for complete equipment, modifications, or repairs should be submitted to Purchasing using a Banner requisition that references a control number, issued by Radiation Safety Services Inc. (RSSI) as indication that they have been notified of the purchase.

Purchasing will need the control number before being able to process a requisition to a purchase order.
