The Association of Division III Independents has named Illinois Tech’s Samuel Rarick AD3I’s Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for action January 23-29.

The Scarlet Hawks placed just one game last week, but Rarick turned in a memorable performance. In a 73-60 victory over Moody Bible Institute, the senior co-captain scored the team’s first 10 points and finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds on 11-of-17 shooting (64.7%). It was his fourth double-double of the season and his 25 points were a season-high.
