Research Participation Opportunity: College Student Attitudes Towards Mental Health

Researchers at IIT are investigating college student attitudes towards mental health. Participants will attend an on-campus event where they will complete a 15-minute survey, attend a 30-minute presentation, and then complete another 15-minute survey following the presentation. Participants will receive an email one month later asking them to participate in a 15-minute online follow up survey.

Participants will receive a choice of compensation:

– Psychology students can choose to earn one hour of credit towards their psychology coursework for completing the first part of the study and .5 hours of course credit for completing the follow up survey.

– Students can also opt to receive a $5 Amazon.com gift card for participation in the first study session and another $5 Amazon.com gift card for participation in the follow up survey.

If you are interested in participating for course credit, please log in to SONA and select “College Mental Health Study.” If you are interested in participating in exchange for the $5 Amazon.com gift card, email Kristin Kosyluk or call 312.567.5246.
