Graduate Students: Crush Your Research Goals This Summer!

Crush Your Research Goals This Summer. Summer Research Writing Program May 15 to June 9 exclusively for Illinois Tech graduate students

This summer, May 15–June 9, graduate students have the opportunity to elevate their writing with an exclusive summer research writing program just for Illinois Tech students.

Every student who completes the program will have a completed dissertation chapter or publishable journal/conference article prepared for submission by the end of the program.

Students will begin the workshop by formulating and scheduling specific writing goals, and will intensely plan and write throughout sessions. Working with writing expert Dr. Hannah Ringler, you will master the mechanics and conventions of academic writing, understand and adhere to submission guidelines and publication standards, and write excellent thesis-driven research papers in a hands-on workshop environment. The cohort is capped at 12 students to ensure every student gets the attention and support to succeed.

The Summer Research Writing Program is a non-credit, 4-week academic writing program for graduate students in any discipline. Students will meet from 10 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, which includes a writing lab session to work 1-on-1 with the faculty member and integrate feedback. Enrollment is first come, first served.
