Career Services has introduced a new requirement for Career Fair participants. Students who attend the Career Fair on Wednesday, September 20 or Thursday, September 21 must have their resume created and approved by Career Services beforehand. 

This requirement is in response to requests from employers and hiring managers in attendance at the Career Fair to see polished resumes from career fair attendees.

A well-crafted resume will:

• Facilitate productive and effective conversations and exchanges with employers
• Improve the success of a student’s ability to gain access to an internship, co-op, or full-time employment opportunity
• Create a document that articulates the student’s vision for their career
• Provide a learning and coaching opportunity for students to reflect on their job search
• Serve as a starting point from which to launch and design the beginning of a career

Resumes will be approved in Handshake and should be uploaded anytime before 5 p.m. on Friday, September 15.
