Illinois Institute of Technology men’s basketball has earned its first Player of the Week award of the 2015-16 season. Third-year player Samuel Rarick has received the honor from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) for the week of November 30-December 6.
A USCAA Second Team All-American a season ago, Rarick put together two strong games over the last seven days. The forward tallied 45 points and 17 rebounds in Illinois Tech’s contests against Carthage and North Park. Rarick poured in 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting in the Carthage game, following it up with a 21 point (10-of-19 from the floor), 13 rebound performance at North Park.
