It’s crossover season for Illinois Tech Athletics, as several winter, and now spring, sports are in action. In total, seven different Scarlet Hawk teams will compete this week.
Men’s Basketball (12-5) kicked off the week for Illinois Tech Athletics. After defeating ninth-ranked North Park University on January 21, the Scarlet Hawks traveled to Moody Bible Institute on January 24.
Men’s Volleyball has the busiest week, as the 1-2 Scarlet Hawks will play three contests. On Wednesday, January 25 Illinois Tech will travel to Robert Morris University’s convocation center in Arlington Heights for a 7 p.m. match. RMU will provide live statistics and video of the contest.
Illinois Tech will also host three teams on Saturday, January 28 in the Keating Sports Center for a four-match event: Dominican University, Calumet College of St. Joseph, and Cardinal Stritch University. Matches are set to begin at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. Live audio, video, and statistics will be available. The live audio will be powered by Illinois Media School.
Women’s Basketball returns home on January 25 for a matchup with Wheaton College. The game will take place in Keating Sports Center at 7 p.m. Live audio, video, and statistics will be available. The live audio will be powered by Illinois Media School
Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving will compete in its final dual meet before the Liberal Arts Championships in early February. The Scarlet Hawks will travel to Lake Forest College for a 1 p.m. meet.
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field is also in action on January 28. Illinois Tech will head north to the University of Wisconsin-Parkside for the school’s Green and White Invite. Meet time is set for 10 a.m.
