The Illinois Tech Department of Athletics has a busy week ahead, as Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s Volleyball, Baseball, and Men’s and Women’s Track and Field will all compete.
The unbeaten Women’s Lacrosse team (6-0) will play three times this week. The first contest will be at home, as the team hosts St. Mary’s College (Indiana) on Tuesday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Stuart Field. Illinois Tech will then play two Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference contests on the road over the weekend, heading to Iowa to take on Wartburg (Saturday, March 25 at 1 p.m.) and Loras (Sunday, March 26 at noon).
On Thursday, March 23 Men’s Volleyball begins the week with a road contest at Cardinal Stritch in Milwaukee at 7 p.m. The team will also play in a road tri-match on March 25, opposing both Fontbonne (2:30 p.m.) and North Central (5 p.m.) at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.
Baseball returns home after eight games in Arizona. On March 25, the Scarlet Hawks will host Wisconsin Lutheran for a noon doubleheader at Ed Glancy Field. The next day, Illinois Tech will head north to play a 1 p.m. game at Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Men’s and Women’s Track and Field continue the outdoor season on March 25, competing in the St. Joseph’s (Indiana) Gene and Rose Edmonds Invitational. The meet is set to get underway at 9 a.m. CT.
