Scarlet Hawk Weekly—Men’s Soccer’s Heavy Home Slate

The first week of October will bring another busy week for Scarlet Hawk Athletics.

Women’s Tennis will play three games in three days on the road with matches at Judson on Saturday, October 7 (9 a.m.), at North Central on Sunday, October 8 (10:08 a.m.) and at Carthage on Monday, October 9 at 4 p.m.

Coming off their second annual Scarlet Hawk Invite in which they dropped two matches, Women’s Volleyball will look to rebound on October 7 during a home match at Keating Sports Center vs. Alma at 1 p.m.

Live audio, video, and stats will be available for the match. The live audio will be powered by Illinois Media School.

Men’s Soccer also opened up a busy week with three matches, all at Stuart Field, after earning two wins last week over Maranatha (3-2) and Ripon (2-0):

  • October 4 vs. Concordia-Chicago
  • October 7 at 5 p.m. vs Maranatha
  • October 9 at 3 p.m. vs. Grace Bible

Women’s Soccer will play on Thursday, October 5 at home vs. Rockford (7 p.m.) before traveling to Indiana on October 7 to take on St. Mary of the Woods at 10 a.m. CT . The team is riding good momentum after taking two of out three matches last week, including a 3-0 shutout victory over Knox.

After strong showings at the Wisconsin Lutheran Warrior Invite, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country will travel to Warrenville for the Eagle Invite hosted by Benedictine University on Friday, October 6. The meet will begin at 4 p.m. for the women and 4:45 p.m. for the men.
