Scarlet Hawks Weekly: Cross Country Back in Action

After a week off from competition, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country returns to action as all five fall Scarlet Hawks athletic teams are in action between now and Sunday, September 26. Check out the information below for all of the week’s events, home and away.

Men’s Soccer looks to build on its two-match win streak with three more matches this week. The Scarlet Hawks will play once at Stuart Field (Friday, September 23 at 7 p.m. against Elmhurst College) and twice on the road (September 20 vs. Concordia-Chicago and September 26 at 2 p.m. at Manchester University).

Women’s Soccer plays a similar schedule to the men’s team this week, with one home match and two road matches. The Scarlet Hawks will host St. Mary of the Woods on Wednesday, September 21 at 6 p.m. at Stuart Field before traveling to Rockford University (September 23, 5 p.m.) and Coe College (September 25, 3 p.m.) later in the week.

Women’s Volleyball will also play three matches this week, all of them coming in a span of 24 hours. Illinois Tech hosts Lake Forest College in the Keating Sports Center on September 23 at 7:30 p.m. before competing in a tri-match on Saturday, September 24 at North Central College. The Scarlet Hawks will oppose Ripon College (1 p.m.) and host North Central (3 p.m.) at the Naperville school.

Men’s and Women’s Cross Country will compete on September 23 at Augustana University. Both teams will compete in the Brissman Lundeen Invitational, which is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. for the women and 5:15 p.m. for the men. The event will take place at Saukie Golf Course.
