Galvin Library has three new scholarly video collections for IIT classroom or research needs. Through IIT’s membership in Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) students, faculty and staff now have access to Engineering Case Studies Online, Environmental Studies In Video, and Psychological Experiments Online.

To access online library resources, log in through the MyIIT portal. When prompted, enter your MyIIT portal username (the first part of your email address, before the “@”) and password at the login screen to retrieve and view the following videos from the collections:

Engineering Case Studies Online features Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster, the Big Dig Ceiling Collapse, and the Challenger Disaster. Within Psychological Experiments Online, videos on the Asch Conformity Experiment, Stanford Prison Experiment, and the Bystander Effect can be viewed. The Environmental Studies In Video has videos on Renewable Energy, the Melting Arctic, and Greenhouse Gases.
