April Is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The Office of Campus Life, Women’s Services, the Student Health and Wellness Center, the Athletics Department, and Residence and Greek Life will provide information throughout the month on how to help prevent sexual assault and support sexual assault victims.

On Tuesday, April 8 and April 15, the Athletics Department will host self defense classes from 7:15-8:15 pm in the lower level of Hermann Hall. In addition, the Student Health and Wellness Center will have tables on the McCormick Tribune Campus Center bridge throughout the month to connect students with professional support. Lastly, Denim Day will be hosted on Wednesday, April 23 in honor of Sexual Violence Awareness Month. View for more information.

If another department or student organization wants to sponsor an event for this month, email Ally Schipma in the Office of Campus Life.
