Share Your Stories of Coming Out at IIT

Join GLBT members to support and share stories of triumph, hardships and struggles of coming out on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at 7 pm in the Carman Hall Lounge. “Coming out” is a figure of speech for an individual to openly identify their sexual orientation, commonly used by members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. It’s a tough journey and often a long one.

This event is meant as a support group as well as a venue for members and allies of the GLBT community to share their experiences with “Coming out”.

This event is co-sponsored with IIT Campus Life and IIT Residence and Greek Life. For more information or questions contact Campus Life or email.

This event reflects the values expressed in IIT’s Diversity Statement and is intended to promote diversity at IIT.
