Shimer College, Illinois Institute of Technology, and VanderCook College of Music students are welcome to come learn about the basics of self-defense with expert Rick Howard on Friday, November 6 from 3:30-5 p.m. in the Cinderella Lounge of Shimer College (3424 S. State Street, second floor). There will be snacks, a $30 gift card raffle, and time for questions and practice.
