Beginning Friday, November 20, 2015, Illinois Institute of Technology students are welcome to cross-register in Shimer College classes for the spring 2016 semester.

Shimer classes are small (12 students or less) and feature student-led seminar-style discussions over primary texts from the Great Books of Western Thought. There are many different course options to choose from that will fulfill your Humanities and Social Sciences elective credits. From Homer and Plato to T.S. Eliot and Heidegger, read about the development of the western mind.
