Students interested in joining the SoReMo initiative as a paid fellow or associate fellow should complete an application form by 8 a.m. January 19.

SoReMo fellows are open to all Illinois Tech students interested in a semester-long research project in the areas of social justice issues, equity, and social responsibility. Fellows will gain communications training, interdisciplinary experience, and contacts across campus and the community.

To prepare your application, you will be writing an essay project proposal, approximately 1-2 pages in length. Check out the information on how to write a good proposal here.

Prospective fellows can join office hours of a past fellow every Wednesday 11 a.m. to noon to learn about the SoReMo fellowship and how to draft a good project/research proposal. Request a Zoom link via email at soremo-core-group@iit.edu.
