STEM Education Minor Open House

All are invited to an Open House with mathematics and science education faculty on Tuesday, March 31, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Math and Science Education Department located at 3424 S. State Street, Fourth Floor. Room 4007. During the event, faculty will discuss the pathway to becoming a secondary mathematics or science teacher in Illinois: the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Education Minor. Students who major in mathematics, science, or engineering can take additional hours of STEM education classes to earn the minor.

Earning the STEM Education Minor equips you with the academic background and professional skills necessary for a successful career in one of today’s most rewarding professions. If you are interested in pursuing a teaching career, RSVP today. Refreshments will be served.

To RSVP call Judith Lederman, associate professor and director of teacher education at 312.567.3662, or email her at ledermanj@iit.edu.
