• Apply Bloom’s Taxonomy to write measurable objectives

• Use the cognitive levels—remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create—to select action-oriented verbs that reflect deeper learning

• Write clear, measurable, and actionable learning objectives

• Practice transforming vague goals into objectives that guide instruction and assessment

• Align learning objectives with assessments

• Ensure that your exams, assignments, and learning activities accurately measure what you intend students to learn
