Stuart School of Business Students Chosen for ThinkChicago: Chicago Ideas Week Program

Two Stuart School of Business students, Irma Rios (B.S. BA) and Rachel Choe (M.B.A./M.S. MAC) were selected to participate in the ThinkChicago: Chicago Ideas Week program, which will run from October 15-17. As finalists, these students, along with eight other Illinois Tech students and a total of 150 representatives from universities across the country, will have a behind-the-scenes look at Chicago Ideas Week, including opportunities to visit business headquarters, directly engage with local tech entrepreneurs, and meet the leaders of some of today’s most innovative tech companies. Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Chicago-based technologists and entrepreneurs will host a series of discussions, including a panel where ThinkChicago students will pitch tech solutions that could improve the quality of life for Chicagoans. ThinkChicago is hosted by Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Chicago Ideas, the University of Illinois, and World Business Chicago.
