Student Chapter of The American Rehabilitation Counseling Association Raises More Than $1,800 for Suicide Prevention

A team of 21 participants from IIT’s Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling student chapter of The American Rehabilitation Counseling Association joined the Out of the Darkness walk on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Organized by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the team raised $1,836, with their top fundraiser Lauren Ruben raising $661 on her own. She achieved the “Red Ribbon Walker” for the event.
