On Wednesday, November 15, the Student Health and Wellness Center will host an open house and a Students in Distress workshop for faculty and staff. Due to a low number of RSVPs, the Student Health and Wellness Center has changed the format of this event.
Attendees will tour the Student Health and Wellness Center clinic and receive information about its medical, counseling, and administrative services and have the opportunity to ask questions.
The Students in Distress workshop will help attendees learn valuable skills to respond to students who may be experiencing distress and guide attendees through the process of referring a student to the Student Health and Wellness Center.
There will be two opportunities to tour the space and enjoy light refreshments.
- 2–3:15 p.m. – Open house at the SHWC
- 3:30–5 p.m. – Students in Distress Workshop in the IIT Tower, Room 1F6-1
