Student in Distress Webinar on October 27, 2021

The Office of Community Standards is excited to announce a make up session of the Student In Distress Webinar for the Illinois Tech Community. This webinar is part of a series of professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to support student success at Illinois Tech.

The Student In Distress Webinar will happen on October 27, 2021 at 12:50 p.m. CST. This workshop will provide faculty and staff with information about how to respond to students who are in distress or exhibiting distressing/disrupting behavior. The workshop will review strategies to help you respond to a student in distress and will outline appropriate response protocols and provide you with an understanding of how personally and when to respond to a student in distress or crisis (including how and when to refer the student to another campus resource).
