Students Needed for New IPRO on Monetizing Active Fantasy Sports

Students are needed for a new Interprofessional Projects Program titled IPRO497-119: Exploring Strategies for Developing and Monetizing an Online Exergame: “Active Fantasy Sports.” “Active Fantasy Sports” is an online exergame currently being developed and tested by Illinois Tech students and faculty in the Psychology, Design, and ITM departments. The basic principles of this game involve integrating wearable activity monitors (e.g., Fitbit, Apple Watch, Jawbone, etc.) with season-long fantasy sport leagues (a previously sedentary game played by over 40 million adults). The course will meet on Wednesdays from 6:25–9:05 p.m. More information can be found here
