Think a car that drives itself is impressive? Illinois Tech students have created drones and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that can fly themselves with an Autonomous Movement Framework. School of Applied Technology professor Jeremy Hajek will assist SAT, Information Technology and Management (ITM) and Brazil Scientific Mobility Program (BSMP) students in demonstrating the Autonomous Movement Framework for UAVs on Tuesday, July 26 at 1:30 p.m. on the Ed Glancy Baseball Field on Mies (Main) Campus (31st and State Street).
The event is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Just show up. The project was developed in the Smart Tech: Embedded System Lab at Illinois Tech.
