Study abroad in Osaka, Japan in Summer 2020 with the Lewis College of Human Sciences faculty-led summer study abroad program.

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore Kyoto, Kobe, Nara, and the rest of Kansai
  • Live in a Japanese neighborhood
  • Enjoy weekly exchanges with Japanese students
  • Take Illinois Tech core curriculum classes:
    • SSCI 285/385: Global Cities Osaka
    • HIST 385: Modern History of Japan
    • IPRO 497: IPRO ABROAD: Osaka, Japan

This opportunity is open to all Illinois Tech students.

Program costs:

  • $1,000 program fee (paid as your deposit)
  • Tuition for 3 or 6 Illinois Tech credits
  • Additional costs:
    • Airfare
    • Food
    • Local transportation
    • Excursion tickets
