Recognize the students and student organizations that go above and beyond here at Illinois Tech, VanderCook College of Music, and Shimer College by nominated deserving individuals for the Campus Life Excellence Awards.
The Campus Life Excellence Awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. in the McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) Ballroom.
Each November the Office of Campus Life will hold an event to honor student organization leadership, outstanding programming done by student organizations, and organization functionality excellence. Applications for the following awards will be available on HawkLink under the “Campus Links” tab on the homepage beginning November 1, 2015 at midnight and will close Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at midnight.
Eligibility Dates: May 1, 2015 – November 1, 2015
Organization Awards
- Outstanding New Student Organization Award
A new student organization (within the last year).
- Outstanding Program/Event
A program or event that was extraordinary in the last
year.
- Outstanding Community Service Project
A project that was implemented for the benefit of an
external partner that is not an IIT organization.
Individual Awards
- Outstanding Student Organization President
A President that goes above and beyond their duties.
- Outstanding Student Organization Executive Board Member
A board member that goes above and beyond.
- Outstanding New Member
Not necessarily a first year student, but someone who is
partcipating in the organization for the first time this year.
- Outstanding Senior Member
A member of an organization in their final year of their
academic career.
- Unsung Hero
Someone who goes above and beyond, but doesn’t
always get the recognition they deserve.
