Summer Job Opening: Student Ambassador in Undergrad Admissions

To help with the recruitment of the upcoming undergraduate class at Illinois Tech, we are seeking skilled individuals for paid Student Ambassador positions within the Office of Undergraduate Admission for summer 2016.

As an Illinois Tech Student Ambassador, you will be responsible for representing the university to prospective students. Student Ambassadors give campus tours, assist at on-campus events, make phone calls to prospective students, help admission counselors with projects, and complete various office work including scheduling visits for families, filing, and data entry. This position will require occasional weekend hours for Saturday Visit Days and Discover Day Open Houses. Preference will be given to students who are available on the following Saturdays: May 21, June 18, July 9, and August 6.

There is flexibility to create a schedule that works for you to accommodate summer vacations and other summer jobs/internships. We would prefer students who are able to work at least five-10 hours per week, though additional hours are available for students who are interested. This position pays $10 per hour.

If you are interested in applying to be a Summer Student Ambassador, complete and submit the online application by Friday, March 11.
